Sentinel Risk & Wealth
Terms of use
Updated 22 September 2026
1. About these terms
These terms concern use of the Sentinel Risk & Wealth website. They are intended to operate alongside the privacy and cookie notices. They do not replace a signed advice agreement, product contract or mandatory disclosure.
2. General information only
Website content is intended as an introduction to Sentinel’s services. It is not a personalised recommendation or an assessment of your financial position, risk profile or product eligibility. Financial, tax, legal and investment decisions require appropriate advice and consideration of your circumstances.
3. Enquiries, reviews and quotations
Submitting a review request does not book a confirmed appointment or create an adviser-client relationship. An appointment, service scope and applicable fees must be agreed separately. A quotation request is not an application, acceptance of risk or instruction to place an investment.
Any illustration or quotation depends on the information supplied, product availability and provider rules. Cover may depend on underwriting, payment and formal insurer acceptance. Existing cover should not be cancelled simply because an enquiry has been submitted.
4. Costs, risks and disclosures
The adviser must explain applicable remuneration, commission, product costs, material conflicts and regulatory disclosures before you proceed. No return, investment outcome, claim payment, acceptance of cover or tax result is promised by this website. Investments may lose value and access restrictions may apply.
5. Your responsibilities
Provide accurate and current contact information and use the site lawfully. Do not impersonate another person, submit malicious content, interfere with the website, probe protected systems or use the form for unsolicited marketing. Do not share confidential or sensitive documents through the general enquiry form.
6. Intellectual property
Sentinel branding and website materials are used by their respective owners or with permission where applicable. You may view the site for personal, lawful purposes. Commercial reuse, copying of branding or redistribution of site materials requires the relevant rights holder’s permission, except where the law allows otherwise.
7. Third-party sites and providers
Links, including Advisorly, take you to services governed by their own terms. A link is not a promise of availability, accuracy or outcome. Product providers, professional advisers and infrastructure providers may have separate contracts and disclosures. The inclusion of a building or location in imagery does not establish a branch address or entitlement to use that institution’s services.
8. Availability and accuracy
Information can change and errors or interruptions may occur. Sentinel may update or suspend site features. Where a form reports an error or delivery is not confirmed, do not assume your enquiry has been received. Contact Sentinel directly if the matter is time-sensitive. The site is not an emergency, claims-notification or transaction-instruction channel.
9. Liability and statutory rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sentinel does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free website operation. Any limitation of liability must be read subject to rights and duties that cannot lawfully be excluded. Nothing here is intended to exclude responsibility that may not be excluded by law, including applicable duties relating to fraud or gross negligence, or to remove consumer or financial-services protections.
10. Privacy and communications
Your enquiry is handled as described in the privacy notice. Electronic communication carries risks; Sentinel may need to verify your identity or instructions before acting. A form submission does not provide consent for unrelated direct marketing.
11. Governing law and complaints
These terms are intended to be governed by South African law, subject to mandatory rights and appropriate court or ombud jurisdiction. For an initial website concern, contact info@sentinelwealth.co.za. Request the applicable complaints process and external dispute-resolution details from Sentinel.
12. Changes and severability
Changes should be published with an updated date and do not retrospectively alter a separate concluded agreement. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent permitted by law.
